KATHMANDU, August 18: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Mayor Balendra Shah and Dharan Sub-Metropolis Mayor Harka Sampang have argued over Facebook on the problems seen in the management of waste in Kathmandu.
Sampang wrote a status on Wednesday evening saying that if he had not gone to Kathmandu, the garbage on the streets in the capital city would not have been collected.
Balen responded to his post. He wrote in the style of Sampang, "Yes... I won the election with your ‘ stick ‘ election symbol!"
Mayor Sampang, who recently came to Kathmandu, also expressed his opinion about the garbage piled up on the road. He said that he wanted to contribute labor when he saw the ‘poverty’ of Kathmandu.
