Police have arrested Suresh Yadav, 33, of the same place on the charge of raping the girl while she was working alone in the field on Monday evening.[break]
The crime came to light after the girl informed her parents of the incident. The girl´s parents then reported the incident to the Area Police Office, Kalyanpur.
The accused Suiresh is said to be absconding after the incident and police have started a search for him. The girl has been taken to the District Hospital Siraha for medical check-up.
