The accident took place when a jeep (Ga.1 Cha. 4270) heading to Syangja headquarters from Rangbhang VDC fell some 150 meters down off the road at Dhobadi.[break]
As many as 13 passengers including driver injured in the accident. Slightly injured Bel Bahadur Thapa and Lil Bahdur Thapa returned home after receiving first aid treatment while critically injured other 11 were rushed to Charak Hospital in Pokhara, said police.
Among the serious injured are Jan Kumar Thapa, Guman Sing Thapa and Jag Maya Thapa of Biruwa Archale and Kabina Thapa, Indra Bahadur Thapa, Rita Thapa, Kalpana Thapa, Sita Thapa, Bishnu Maya Ale, Chandra Kumari Thapa and jeep driver Mohan Thapa, said Somendra Sing Rathor, chief of the District Police Office.
The cause behind the accident is yet to be identified, said DSP Rathor.
