13 injured in jeep accident in Achham

ACHHAM, Dec 19: At least 13 people were injured in a jeep accident in Thulasain Mangalsen Municipality-6, Achham. The accident took place on the Mid-hill Highway.
Out of the 14 individuals in the jeep (Bhe 1 Cha 2576), driven by Karbu Lama from Simikot Rural Municipality-3 in Humla district, 13 were injured, while one person suffered minor injuries. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Santosh Pathak, the injured are currently receiving medical treatment at the district hospital.
The accident occurred as the jeep, en route to Surkhet from Bajura, experienced a sudden brake failure, leading to it veering off the road and overturning.
