BAGMATI, March 25y: Chief Minister (CM) of Bagmati Province, Rajendra Prasad Pandey, has expressed commitment to illuminate Bagmati Province by collaborating with the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).
Addressing an interaction organized at Hetauda of Makawanpur, CM Pande shared that Bagmati Province government has kept other alternative energy production and use including water and energy on its top priority.
He further said that the provincial government in collaboration with the NEA would carry out activities to provide electricity service to cent percent households of the province, provide induction stoves at subsidized prices to the families with low income in order to increase power consumption, and establish charging stations at different places for the promotion of electric vehicles.
Similarly, Minister for Water Supply, Irrigation and Energy of the province, Basanta Bahadur Manandhar, member of Bagmati Province Policy and Planning Commission, Raju Nepal, among others briefed about the situation and problem of electricity in the province.
