JANAKPURDHAM, Jan 29: As many as 1,246 of the total 2,160 polling stations in Madhesh Province for the House of Representatives election to be held on March 5 have been categorized as highly sensitive.
According to the Madhesh Province Police Office, most polling stations close to the Indian border have been classified as highly sensitive.

Kamal Thapa, spokesperson of the Madhesh Province Police Office, stated that work is underway as per plan regarding monitoring and security measures at these polling stations.
This information was given out at the press conference held today in Janakpurdham. It was informed that out of the 32 constituencies for the House of Representatives election in Madhesh Province, 755 polling stations are sensitive and 159 polling stations are normal.
There are a total of 4,471 polling centres in Madhesh Province. There are 1,028 candidates from various political parties as well as independents.
The number of voters is 3.517 million. Among them, the number of men is 1.905 million and the number of women is 1.611 million.
