KATHMANDU, March 10: The Ministry of Home Affairs has sought clarification from two police inspectors. The ministry’s Police Personnel Division has sought clarification from Technical Police Inspectors Dr Bishal Jung Thakuri and Kartikesh Jha.
According to the home ministry, Thakuri of Nuwakot, who has been working at the Nepal Police Hospital, Maharajgunj, has not been present at the hospital since October 25. He has been asked to submit an explanation within seven days.
Similarly, Jha, who is posted at the Central Police Forensic Science Laboratory, has not been present at the office since November 8. He has also been asked for an explanation within seven days. If they don’t submit their clarifications within the deadline, the ministry has warned to expel both of them from police service so that they will not be disqualified for future government service.
