KATHMANDU, Feb 18: As the meeting of the ruling coalition held this morning ended without reaching a conclusion, the US-funded project Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact agreement will not be presented in today's session of parliament.
The meeting decided not to table the MCC grant agreement in today’s House of Representatives meeting. The next meeting of the ruling alliance has been scheduled for Sunday to discuss the MCC project.
The HoR meeting is scheduled for 1 PM today. A meeting of the Business Advisory Committee has started to decide the agenda of the meeting.
Meanwhile, the main opposition CPN-UML has not participated in the meeting.
