The meeting will be followed by policy-level agreements between the two countries, the PM´s foreign affairs advisor Rajan Bhattarai said.
Nepal, who reached Beijing on Monday from Xian, was received by Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Wu Dawei. The PM along with the delegation members have been lodged at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing.
The Chinese government had arranged a special China Air flight for the PM´s travel from Xian to Beijing. It has also distributed mobile phones to all members of the delegation and arranged cars for the PM, DPM Sujata Koirala, finance minister, energy minister, PM´s advisors, PM´s wife and security personnel. A minibus has been arranged for other guests.
During his stay in Beijing, the PM is scheduled to visit the Great Wall, White Pagoda Temple and Mao´s mausoleum.
The PM visited the famous Famane Buddha Temple in Xian and unveiled a five feet, 150kg copper statue of Lord Buddha on Monday. He also visited the Terracotta Warrior Museum, a world heritage site, in Shaanxi province on Monday.
