12 injured in Tanahun jeep accident

KATHMANDU, Jan 10: A jeep going from Pokhara to Palpa met with an accident this morning at Bhimad in Tanahun.
According to the Tanahun Police Inspector Chandra Bhandari, 12 people were injured in the accident and eight people were rescued. He said that the jeep (GA 1 JA 6356) was headed for Palpa from Pokhara.
The jeep fell about 150 meters down the road. The driver of the jeep has been detained by the police.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohan Khand of the District Police Office, Tanahun, informed Republica that the details of the accident are yet to come.
