People in Hetauda must not miss it at Hotel Avocado on Saturday, while for Narayangarh party goers it’s on Monday at the Chitrawati Leisure Center. Get a glimpse into exclusive photographs taken during the decade-long conflict, by photojournalist Dinesh Shrestha. The exhibition titled “Jana Youddha Dekhi Shanti Samjhauta” starts today, December 11 at Nepal Art Council in Baber Mahal and is scheduled to run through December 17.

For all the art lovers in town, here’s an event not to miss. Organized by Alliance Francaise in Kathmandu, “Visual Poems – A Score for Experimenting Your Perceptions” by Emma Ponsart begins at 6:30 p.m. tonight at Alliance Francaise office in Tripureshwor. The exhibition is about the artist’s interpretation of her universe through visual and sound experiences, and her experimentations with the body in space.

Juntara Sanskritik Sewa Samaj brings you a full fledged music concert at Nepal Academy Hall on Saturday afternoon at 2 pm. Your line up of favorite singers including Anju Panta, Rajesh Payal Rai, Jagdish Samal, Reshma Sunuwar will be there to lighten up your cold wintry day.

Don’t miss the ongoing Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival (KIMFF) where more than four dozen movies are being screened back-to-back at the City Hall and Nepal Tourism Board premises, both conveniently located at Exhibition Road. Other highlights of the event are book and photography exhibitions alongside workshops on animation and installation art.
