Senior leader Bam Dev Gautam also attends the meeting

KATHMANDU, Mar 20: The parliamentary meeting of CPN-UML has begun in the Prime Minister’s Official Residence in Baluwatar.

Senior leader of the party, Bam Dev Gautam, who did not participate in any of the meetings of the erstwhile Nepal Communist Party (NCP) faction when the intra-party rift was at its peak,  has also participated in the meeting. 

It is the first time that Gautam is participating in any meetings of the party after the Prime Minister K P Oli decided to dissolve the House of Representatives (HoR).

However, lawmakers and leaders close to Madhav Kumar Nepal have boycotted the meeting. The party is scheduled to hold a central committee meeting later this afternoon.
