Room to Read provides 25 computers to Kaski school

POKHARA, Oct 26: Room to Read, a non-profit organization, donated 25 computers to Amarjyoti Gaunfarka School in Lekhnath and started Internet facility from Monday.



The organization, that had installed 25 branded computers and wireless Internet service a week ago, provided training on basic computer skills, Internet and Skype for video conferencing to the students for seven days and officially launched the facility on Monday. Wireless telecom giant Qualcomm, Nepal Telecom and Ministry of Education have also supported the project.



Room to Read had earlier established a library in the school in April 2007.
