100 Houses displaced in Sunsari

ITAHARI, July 3: As many as 116 households, displaced with many villages of Sunsari inundated due to the incessant rain since some days back, have been shifted to safe camps.



The flood that took place in Sunsari rivulet rendered 13 households of Inaruwa municipality-6, Musahari tole and 30 houses of Khikharipatti settlement of the same ward displaced. [break]



Likewise, some 73 households of Bhokraha-7 have also been forced to flee the village when the same rivulet entered the settlement.



After the flood in the rivulet waterlogged the entire human settlement along the river bank, the flood victims were shifted to safe area in Gyanodaya lower secondary school at Inaruwa municipality-6 in the night.



At least nine children of the marginalized community people rendered displaced with the swollen rivulet entering their residence have fallen sick.
