SARLAHI, April 19: Ten people were injured when a truck and rickshaw (Magic) collided head-on here on the Raniganj-2 section of the East-West Highway on Tuesday.
Seven of the injured are reported to be critical.

Among the critically injured, Dev Sharan Mahato, 26, and his son Lalan, 12, have been referred to Kathmandu for treatment.
Likewise, Radha Karki, 35, and her 14 –year-old son Amit Karki of Ranigunj-4, Hem Bahadur Basnet, 40, of Ranigunj-2, Rickhaw driver Saroj Pariyar, 22, of Hariwan Municipality and his assistant Bijay Paswan, 15, have been referred to Chitwan for treatment.
The remaining injured are being treated at the Lalbandi-based Model Hospital.
The incident occurred as the truck, Na 3 Kha, 4888 and rickshaw, Na 1 Ja, 2795 collided head-on. Police have impounded the truck and its driver.
