1,954 new COVID-19 cases reported in Nepal on Wednesday

KATHMANDU, Oct 28: Nepal on Wednesday witnessed 1,954 new cases of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

KATHMANDU, Oct 28: Nepal on Wednesday witnessed 1,954 new cases of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), according to the Ministry of Health and Population. 


With this, Nepal’s COVID-19 case tally has jumped to 162,354 including 121,824 recoveries and 887 deaths.

Nepal’s COVID-19 recovery rate stands at 75.03 percent including 2,981 more recoveries in the past 24 hours, according to the ministry. 


Nepal saw 11 more fatalities linked with COVID-19 in the last one day. With this, the country’s coronavirus-related death toll has soared to 887. 


 


Nepal had first reported COVID-19-related death on May 16.
