Kumar Sada, 29, of Balardaha village in Fattepur VDC-8, killed his neighbor Devilal Sada, 36, on Sunday, according to eyewitness.
Devilal, a Christian pastor in the community, and was working as a faith healer for Kumar, who was said to have lost his mental balance due to some ´curse´. [break]
The locals also informed that Kumar slit Devilal´s throat when the latter was ´healing´ him on Sunday morning.
The police informed that it has detained Kumar. After killing Devilal, Kumar had taken bath in a nearby pond and returned to his home.
According to Kumar´s family source, Devilal had forced Kumar to convert to Christianity from Hinduism.
Kumar´s wife, Tiliya Devi, however, said that Kumar had tried to kill her and their children on Saturday night.
“The villagers saved us from Kumar as they came to rescue us, hearing our scream,” Tiliya said.
