KATHMANDU, Sept 1: A young girl has gone missing after jumping into the Bagmati River from a bridge in Chyasal, Lalitpur Metropolitan City-2. She jumped into the Bagmati River at around 7PM on Sunday.
The Lalitpur police have started a search following the report of the jump. Under the bridge where the girl jumped, a bag with a note mentioning ‘Anjali Sharma, 20, ‘of Rukum Musikot’ and a mobile phone were also found. It has not been ascertained whether the documents and mobile phones found belong to the missing girl or any other girl.

SP Nareshraj Subedi, spokesperson of Lalitpur police, said that the search operation to locate the missing girl is still underway.
