KATHMANDU, Sept 22: A wild elephant has died after being caught in an electrical trap in a community forest in Bara district.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Mahendra Khadka said that the elephant died after being electrocuted in the Tamagadhi Community Forest.

The elephant was caught in an electrical trap set in the Tamagadhi Community Forest, near Bhulwahi village in Kolhabi Municipality-2, Bara.
SP Khadka said that it is not known yet who set the electrical trap in the community forest area and that further investigation into this incident is currently underway.
