KATHMANDU, March 26: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) has observed a partial influence of westerly and local winds across the country. While hilly areas remain partly cloudy, the rest of the country is experiencing clear weather.
The DHM forecasts partly cloudy conditions in hilly regions during the day. A few places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces may receive light rainfall with thunder and lightning, while some high-altitude and mountainous areas could see light snowfall.
Weather today to remain generally clear
Tonight, hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces will remain partly cloudy, while the rest of the country will have clear skies.
The department predicts similar weather for the next 24 hours, with light rainfall, thunder, and lightning likely in some hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. Light snowfall may also occur in a few high-altitude and mountainous areas. It has advised caution, as these weather conditions could slightly impact daily life, agriculture, health, road transportation, and aviation.
