US envoy meets Regmi

KATHMANDU, 25 Sept: US ambassador to Nepal, Peter W. Bodde, paid a courtesy call on Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Khil Raj Regmi, at the latter´s office this afternoon.



During the meeting the duo discussed on latest political development, preparations of the Constituent Assembly Election and the ongoing 68th General Assembly of the United Nations in New York.



Regmi´s Press Advisor, Bimal Gautam informed that during the meeting, Chairman Regmi appraised the US envoy efforts being initiated to bring all the parties on board the election process.



The US envoy commended Chairman Regmi´s role on the preparation for the CA elections.



Without indicating any person or groups, envoy Bodde expressed the view that it was undemocratic to create obstacles to the CA polls.
