KATHMANDU, March 27: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for Thursday. The exchange rate for the US dollar has slightly depreciated, with the buying rate at Rs 136.84 and the selling rate at Rs 137.44.
On Wednesday, the buying and selling rates stood at Rs 136.92 and Rs 137.52, respectively. Similarly, the Euro's exchange rate has also declined, with the buying rate at Rs 147.68 and the selling rate at Rs 148.33, down from Rs 148.16 (buying) and Rs 148.81 (selling) the previous day.
The British Pound Sterling and Swiss Franc have also fallen. The Pound Sterling's buying and selling rates are Rs 176.59 and Rs 177.37, respectively. Likewise, the Swiss Franc trades at Rs 154.90 (buying) and Rs 155.58 (selling).
Pound, Singapore Dollar and Australian Dollar strengthen

Among other currencies, the Australian Dollar stands at Rs 86.56 (buying) and Rs 86.94 (selling), the Canadian Dollar at Rs 96.01 (buying) and Rs 96.43 (selling), and the Singapore Dollar at Rs 102.31 (buying) and Rs 102.76 (selling).
The Japanese Yen (per 10 units) is being exchanged at Rs 9.11 (buying) and Rs 9.15 (selling), while the Chinese Yuan is at Rs 18.83 (buying) and Rs 18.92 (selling). The Saudi Arabian Riyal and Qatari Riyal have been set at Rs 36.48 (buying) and Rs 36.64 (selling) and Rs 37.54 (buying) and Rs 37.70 (selling), respectively.
According to the central bank, the exchange rates for other major currencies include the Thai Baht at Rs 4.03 (buying) and Rs 4.05 (selling), the UAE Dirham at Rs 37.26 (buying) and Rs 37.42 (selling), and the Malaysian Ringgit at Rs 30.89 (buying) and Rs 31.03 (selling).
The South Korean Won (per 100 units) is at Rs 9.35 (buying) and Rs 9.39 (selling), while the Swedish Krona and Danish Krone are trading at Rs 13.62 (buying) and Rs 13.68 (selling), and Rs 19.80 (buying) and Rs 19.88 (selling), respectively.
Additionally, the Hong Kong Dollar stands at Rs 17.60 (buying) and Rs 17.68 (selling), the Kuwaiti Dinar at Rs 443.74 (buying) and Rs 445.68 (selling), the Bahraini Dinar at Rs 362.95 (buying) and Rs 364.54 (selling), and the Omani Riyal at Rs 355.45 (buying) and Rs 357.01 (selling). The Indian Rupee (per 100 units) is being exchanged at Rs 160.00 (buying) and Rs 160.15 (selling).
