KATHMANDU, March 5: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for Wednesday as per which one US dollar is exchanged at Rs 139.33 for buying and Rs 139.93 for selling.
One euro is being exchanged at Rs 146.55 for buying and Rs 147.18 for selling. The exchange rate for one British pound sterling is Rs 177.19 for buying and Rs 177.95 for selling. Similarly, one Swiss franc is valued at Rs 156.39 for buying and Rs 157.07 for selling.
The exchange rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 86.73 for buying and Rs 87.11 for selling, while one Canadian dollar is traded at Rs 96.56 for buying and Rs 96.98 for selling. One Singapore dollar is exchanged at Rs 103.67 for buying and Rs 104.11 for selling.
US dollar exchanges at Rs 140.10, euro at Rs 146.41
Among Asian currencies, ten Japanese yen are valued at Rs 9.37 for buying and Rs 9.41 for selling. One Chinese yuan is exchanged at Rs 19.16 for buying and Rs 19.25 for selling. The exchange rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 37.15 for buying and Rs 37.31 for selling, while one Qatari riyal is traded at Rs 38.23 for buying and Rs 38.39 for selling.
One Thai baht is exchanged at Rs 4.12 for buying and Rs 4.14 for selling. The rate for one UAE dirham is Rs 37.94 for buying and Rs 38.10 for selling, while one Malaysian ringgit is valued at Rs 31.19 for buying and Rs 31.33 for selling. One hundred South Korean won are exchanged at Rs 9.55 for buying and Rs 9.59 for selling. One Swedish krona is traded at Rs 13.21 for buying and Rs 13.27 for selling, while one Danish krone is valued at Rs 19.65 for buying and Rs 19.73 for selling.
One Hong Kong dollar is exchanged at Rs 17.92 for buying and Rs 18.00 for selling. The exchange rate for one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 451.48 for buying and Rs 453.42 for selling, while one Bahraini dinar is valued at Rs 369.67 for buying and Rs 371.27 for selling. Similarly, one Omani riyal is exchanged at Rs 361.91 for buying and Rs 363.47 for selling. The exchange rate for one hundred Indian rupees is Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.
