Bijukchhe re-elected chair of Nepal Worker Peasants Party

BHAKTAPUR, March 5: Narayan Man Bijukchhe (Rohit) has been re-elected the Chairman of Nepal Worker Peasants Party unanimously.  


The 8th General Convention of the party, which concluded on Tuesday, elected Bijukchhe to the post unopposed. The party's Eighth General Convention started on February 28 in Bhaktapur.

Bijukchhe has been leading the party since its establishment in 2031 BS (1974).


The general convention elected Prem Suwal as the party secretary, while Mohan Prasad Prajapati made it to the post of treasurer.


Likewise, Sunil Prajapati, Nanda Bahadur Shahi, Dilli Prasad Kafle, Nabraj Koirala, Jagya Bahadur Shahi, Surendra Raj Gosain, and others have been elected the central committee members unopposed.
