UML, UCPN (Maoist) discuss on talks with dissenting parties

KATHMANDU, Sept 3: CPN-UML and UCPN (Maoist) leaders have held discussions on the constitution drafting process and addressing the demands of disgruntled parties on Thursday.

The meeting held at the residence of the UCPN (Maoist) Vice-chair Narayan Kaji Shretha agreed to forward the constitution drafting process after the last date for amending the Revised Bill of Nepal's Constitution-2015.


Following the meeting UML Vice-chair Bhim Rawal informed that the meeting held discussions on not lingering the constitution process and holding dialogue with disgruntled parties simultaneously.

He added that the dialogue would be centered by keeping the people's rights and national unity at the centre.

CPN-UML chair KP Sharma Oli, leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and Vice-chair Rawal from UML's side and chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal, senior leader Baburam Bhattarai and Vice-chair Shrestha from UCPN (Maoist) side were present in the meeting.

Meanwhile, three major-party meeting is going to be held at the Prime Minister's official Residence at Baluwatar today itself for the same purpose. RSS
