UML to announce campaign for clearing 'confusion' over statute

KATHMANDU, Sept 24: The CPN-UML is set to launch a nationwide campaign to clarify 'confusion' over the new constitution.

UML Secretary and Chief of Publicity Department Yogesh Bhattarai informed the Standing Committee meeting of the party scheduled at 3 pm on Thursday afternoon will announce the campaign.

According to him, the party plans to reach to people for clarifying doubts over the constitution. The meet is also expected to discuss protests being staged in Tarai region and demands of agitating parties.

“The meet will review the aim of the protest and demands,” Bhattarai said.
