KATHMANDU, Feb 3: United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) is all set to mull over the modus operandi of their agitation saying that the ongoing border-centric protest is only adding woes to the general people. Leaders said they will discuss the future course of their agitation in the meeting on Friday.

"The similar type of agitation continuing for a long time only inflicted woes to the general public rather than the targeted group," Lalbabu Raut, vice chairman of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal told Republica, adding, "Changes are likely in our set protest programs while continuing the agitation."

Expressing strong exception to the issues including new constitution and provincial delineation, UDMF has been staging protests since August 15.

In order to exert pressure on the government to pay heed to their demands, Madhesi parties have been staging border-centric demonstrations since last five months.

Some leaders within the UDMF itself are voicing against the Nepal-India border points blockade arguing that the blockade is only adding woes to the public rather than the government.
