"The similar type of agitation continuing for a long time only inflicted woes to the general public rather than the targeted group," Lalbabu Raut, vice chairman of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal told Republica, adding, "Changes are likely in our set protest programs while continuing the agitation."

Sadbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato informed that the UDMF meeting on Friday will come up with official decision on the fate of blockade. Mahato said he will formally float a proposal on lifting blockade in the meeting.
UDMF leader and Chairman of Tarai Madhes Democratic Party Mahantha Thakur, upon his arrival in Birgunj on Wednesday, said that the meeting would discuss the blockade issue.
Similarly,Tarai Madhes Sadbhawana Party Chairman Mahendra Yadav had publicly announced that they would rethink of the course of agitation few days ago.
