SARLAHI, Jan 16: The United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) on Saturday demonstrated its power by organizing a huge rally armed with bamboo sticks.
The huge demonstration was organized in Sarlahi at a time when the discourse doing round that there is less participation of the Madhesi people in the Morcha-organized demonstration.

Demonstrators wielding bamboo sticks had been ferried to Malangawa in tractors and buses from villages. The demonstration which started from District Development Chowk passed through the municipality and converged at the intersection near the District Development Office where they organized a corner meeting.
Prior to the demonstration, the Sadbhawana Party cadres had shouted slogans in favor of leader Rajendra Mahato.
