Under the updated process, submitting a police clearance certificate has been made mandatory for all visa applicants.
The decision is expected to help sustain remittance inflows, as the UAE remains Nepal’s largest labor destination. A total of 80,901 Nepali workers received final labor approval in the first four months of the current fiscal year.
