KATHMANDU, Dec 17: Nepal have entered the Super Four stage of the ACC Women's U-19 Asia Cup Cricket as the runner-up.
Nepal were limited to the runner-up after they were forced to share points with India due to heavy rainfall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Although India have the same 3 points, Nepal fell behind in terms of net run rate. India emerged as the group winner. After sharing points with India, Nepal secured a place in the Super Four.
From Group A, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have entered the Super Four. In the Super Four, Bangladesh will have 2 points while Sri Lanka will have zero points.

Nepal will play against Sri Lanka on Thursday in their first match of the Super Four. The next match will be against Bangladesh on Friday. The top two teams in the Super Four will play the finals on Sunday.
India scored 28 runs without loss in 3.1 overs while chasing the target of 95 runs set by Nepal and the match was abandoned due to rain.
After India won the toss and invited Nepal to bat first at the Kinrara Oval Cricket Ground, Nepal managed to score 94 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Captain Puja Mahato scored 25, Anisha Kumari Yadav scored 20 not out, Sana Praveen scored 9 and Sony Pakhrin scored 8 runs. Anisha contributed 20 runs off 9 balls with the help of 4 fours.
On behalf of India, Parunika Sisodia took 4 wickets and Anandita Kishor and Mithila Vinod took one wicket each.
