The deceased have been identified as Kari Das, 32, and Ram Swagat Das, 30, of Bidhyanagar-3 in the district, said police.
The accident took place last night when a truck with unidentified registration number plate heading towards east from west hit the motorcycle (Sa 2 Pa 7174). Kari was motorcyclist while Ram Swagat was pillion rider.
Both were seriously injured in the accident and died in course of medical treatment at Ram Prasad-Uma Memorial Hospital, said Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Area Police Office, Lahan, Uma Prasad Chaturbedi. RSS
