RAUTAHAT, August 17: Two persons have been arrested in Sarlahi with huge amounts of cash and gold jewelry. Sarlahi police have arrested them with cash of Rs 3,600,000 and gold jewelry worth Rs 1,950,000.
A team of Sarlahi police found a large amount of illegal cash and jewelry while checking a motorcycle numbered province 02-033 P 7750 going to Hirapur from Naya Road located in Barhathwa Municipality 11 Hirapur Barrage of Sarlahi.
One arrested with pistol in Sarlahi
A large amount of cash and jewelry were recovered in a leather bag along with the motorcyclist, Hark Bahadur Kathayat, 30, who lives in Kapan-10, Kathmandu, and Vishal Khatri, 31, of Changunarayan Municipality 2, Duwakot, Bhaktapur District
DSP Vijay Yadav, information officer at District Police Office, Sarlahi, informed Republica that the recovered cash, gold jewelry and motorcycle have been sent to Sarlahi Customs Office Malangwa for necessary action.
