He said although the target customers of dishwasher are hotels, restaurants and hospitals, the product was gaining popularity among household customers also. “Most of the dishwashers have been sold to hotels, restaurants and hospitals because of which load shedding didn´t impact much on our sales as these places have proper power back-up system,” added he.

Ifb zephyr ex and Fratelli dishwashers are available on 2200 watt which consume two unit electricity per hour. Ifb zephyr ex is a German brand which is assembled in India. Fratelli is an Italian brand and is also assembled in India.
Both has a comprehensive wash and flexible capacity. “Comprehensive wash helps remove stubborn stains from dishes which are quite difficult a remove while washing by hand,” said Ghimire. He further added that with the powerful combination of thermal, mechanical and chemical wash in dish washers, no grime or dirt will remain.
Similarly, flexible capacity holds the trays which are designed to accommodate heavy dishes like pressure cookers, steel vessels and frying pan. At a time both dishwasher can handle around 95 pieces of dishes and other small cutlery at once.
“Household customers to some extent are attracted towards the dishwashers because they are user and environmental friendly, can save time, are fully automatic and have specially designed lower basket to load small vessels,” Ghimire told Republica.
