MORANG, Oct 14: Two COVID-19 infected people from Province 1 died in Biratnagar-based hospitals.
A 60-year-old man from Bansbari, Budhiganga Rural Municipality-3, died while undergoing treatment at Birat Teaching Hospital at 12:20 AM today and a woman in her late 40s lost her life at Nobel Teaching Hospital. Sunil Dev, isolation incharge of the hospital, said the man was admitted to the hospital after testing positive for the virus on October 1. Dev informed that the deceased was suffering from respiratory and kidney-related problems as well.

The 49-year-old woman from Sundarharaicha Municipality-5 was undergoing treatment at Nobel Teaching Hospital when she died at seven last night at the hospital. According to Narayan Dahal, manager of the hospital, she was admitted to the hospital for kidney dialysis on Sunday. She had a history of diabetes, high-blood pressure and kidney problems.
