KATHMANDU, Nov 22: Two matches will be played today as part of the ongoing second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) in the capital.
In the first match, scheduled for 11:15 a.m. at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur, Karnali Yaks will face Lumbini Lions. Lumbini will play under the captaincy of Rohit Paudel, while Sompal Kami will lead Karnali.
Two exciting matches being held in NPL today
Lumbini is looking for its second victory. It had defeated Chitwan Rhinos in its opening match. This is also the second match for Karnali. Karnali, which lost its first match to Chitwan Rhinos, aims to secure a win today.
Similarly, in the second match, Kathmandu Gorkhas will face Biratnagar Kings at 3:30 p.m. Kathmandu, led by Karan KC, is set to play its third match. Kathmandu defeated defending champions Janakpur Bolts in its first match but was stunned by Sudurpaschim Royals in the second.
Biratnagar, under the captaincy of Sandeep Lamichhane, is looking for its second consecutive victory. Biratnagar had earned an impressive win against Pokhara Avengers in its opening match.
