Two injured at truck plunges in Trishuli

CHITWAN, May 23: A truck carrying tents veered off the road and fell down into Trishuli River injuring two people on Saturday afternoon.

According to police, the truck, Na 4 Kha 9764, was heading to Kathmandu from Biratnagar when it plunged into the river at Darechowk-2, Ghoptevir at around 2 pm this afternoon.


The injured are driver Sanu Bahadur Adhikari, 42, and co-driver Balram Kunwar, 18, of Pipal-8 of Nuwakot.

The duo is receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College, police said.
