Two die in separate road incidents in Nawalparasi

KAWASOTI, May 26: Two persons died in separate incidents in Nawalparasi district along the East-West Highway Monday night.Aashish Thapa, 20, of Bhalwar in Kapilvastu, currently living at Sunawal-4 in Nawalparasi district, died and five others were injured when a truck (Na 4 Kha 7559) heading towards the east from west and a mini truck (Ba 1 Ka 3531) collided with each other at Ramnagar , according to the District Police Office, Nawalparasi.

Both the drivers were injured in the incident. Of the injured, two are undergoing treatment at Bharatpur in Chitwan and the remaining at Butwal.

Similarly, Manoj Chaudhary, 25, of Maharajgunj, India, died when a motorcycle (Lu 19 Pa 2274) and another motorcycle (Lu 3 Pa 4471) collided with each other at Devgaun VDC-6, said police. Manoj was riding the motorcycle (Lu 19 Pa 2274). Injured another motorcyclist Birendra Chaudhary of Devgaun-2 was receiving medical treatment. RSS
