KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Police have arrested two individuals with suspected brown sugar and later recovered firearms from their residence in Kathmandu.
According to the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, 19-year-old Sujan Shrestha and 21-year-old Amar Shahi of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-12 were apprehended with 920 milligrams of the substance, Rs 32,000 in cash and five mobile phones from Teku, Humat.
Further investigation led to the recovery of two revolvers and six rounds of ammunition from their residence. One revolver and two rounds were found hidden behind their house, while another revolver and four rounds were seized from Shrestha’s room.
