Train-hit claims 3 Nepalis at Indo-Nepal border Jogbani

BIRATNAGAR, June 14: Three Nepalis were killed after being crushed by a train at Nepal-India border Jogbani on Tuesday evening.



The killed are identified as Ramesh Sharma, 25, of Kadamaha-8, Raju Rishidev, 16 of Judighat-8, Morang and 26-year-old Binod Yadav of Sigyahimada, Dhanusha district, Sub Inspector of Boarder Police Office, Jogbani Phiroj Chaudhari told Republica Online.   


It is learnt that they were hit by the speeding train while they were crossing the track of the train at Jogbani on a motorbike at 8 pm yesterday.


The train was heading to Jogbani from Katihar.

The bodies have been handed over to the respective kin following postmortem carried out at Arariya-based hospital.
