Three National Assembly members resign

Leaders of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), Bamdev Gautam and Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Bhagwati Neupane of the CPN-UML have submitted their resignations to National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat Spokesperson Ekram Giri.

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: Three members of the National Assembly (NA), the upper house of the Federal Parliament, have resigned. 



Leaders of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), Bamdev Gautam and Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Bhagwati Neupane of the CPN-UML have submitted their resignations to National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat Spokesperson Ekram Giri.

Gautam, Shrestha and Neupane have resigned to run as candidates for the House of Representatives elections from Bardiya-1, Sarlahi-3 and Tanahun-1, respectively. Their term was until March 4.
