KATHMANDU, March 24: The government has formed a three-member committee to recommend candidates for the position of Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank.
The decision was made during the cabinet meeting held on Monday evening. The committee will be led by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel.

Government spokesperson and Minister for Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung shared the decision following the meeting.
The other members of the committee are former Governor Bijay Nath Bhattarai and former Vice-Chairman of the National Planning Commission Bishwo Paudel.
