Due to extreme poverty, her husband Bir Bahadur Chepang handed over the child to one Ishwori Raut of Megaulai for bringing up the child. Raut had come at the hospital for receiving treatment, it is learnt. [break]
Likewise, Hemanta Gurung, 18, of Sharadanagar VDC was killed in a road accident at Navadurgachok-13 recently. She was heading to Bharatpur from Sharadanagar, west of Chitwan on scooter (Na 25 Pa 80) and met with an accident. She was seriously injured in the mishap that took place as she tried to save a cyclist.
She died while undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital.
Similarly, one Kalaiya Mahato of Madi Baghauda died after lightning struck him on Wednesday evening, said police. She was working in a paddy field when she was hit by lighting. The critically injured Mahato died in course of treatment at a local medical. Her husband Surendra Mahato is also injured in the same incident and is receiving treatment at a local clinic.
