Through the AGM, Sushil Koirala was appointed as President, Nirakar Shrestha as Vice President, R. C. Lohani as Treasurer and Dr. PujanRai as Secretary.
Likewise, Sadish Shrestha, BabitaSedhain and Bibek Bhandari were appointed as members.
Moreover, JayramPudasaini was appointed as Executed Director of Survivors Nepal. Survivors Nepal is a movement that sprouted out during early response to recent earthquake that devastated Nepal.
Registered formally on 11th May 2015, Survivors Nepal had provided relief aid, mostly tarpaulin sheets, medical supplies and health care in the most affected remote areas in Nepal and started its work within four days of the disaster. In most places, aid from Survivors Nepal was the first to reach.
Now it is working for construction of temporary school shelters, providing clean water drinking at schools, reconstruction of schools, post disaster health prevention and primary health care and improving access to government rehabilitation packages through legal aid.
