KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Suman Raj Aryal has been appointed the new Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar on Monday made the appointment today.

Current Chief Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal will retire on November 25 after reaching the mandatory retirement age of 58. He was appointed to the post on August 29, 2024.
