KATHMANDU, Sept 11: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Pampha Bhusal said that the government will do everything in its power to serve the people.
Speaking at a program organized by the Lalitpur district committee of a Kirat organization, Bhusl said that the substitution bill brought by the government yesterday, is in favor of the people.

“Families of those who died for democracy in the political struggle will be provided with relief. People with problems due to the COVID-19 pandemic will be provided with relief. Employment opportunities will be provided. The substitution bill was introduced for the financial and overall development of the country,” Bhusal said. Minister Bhusal announced to provide free electricity to households consuming only up to 20 units of electricity per month.
Furthermore, Bhusal said that she has decreased the taxes on electricity to promote the use of domestically produced electricity and to minimize the use of LPGs. On the occasion, Bhusal also inaugurated a guest house built on the premises of the Limbu Museum at Lalitpur Municipality-14
