The main gate was padlocked at 12:30 afternoon with Vice-chancellor Keshar Jung Baral and Registrar Om Prakash Sharma still inside the premises.
Pokhara correspondent of the Annapurna Post daily Bharat Koirala and marketing staffer Madhav Baral, who had gone to the university with personal matters, were also locked inside the premises.
