Traffic movement have been obstructed due to the demonstrations at major thoroughfares in the Kathmandu Valley, giving commuters a tough time during the morning rush hour.
Thirteen different students´ organizations, a couple of days ago, had announced their nationwide protest program demanding that the government not implement the decision to increase petroleum prices.
Meanwhile, The students of Tri Chandra College and policemen are having a nasty altercation near the college. The altercation started when the police tried to scatter the students protesting on the road.
The students are pelting stones at the policemen from the college building, our correspondent Arjun Subedi informed. The traffic on that stretch of road has been stopped.
