Three Star President Lalit Krishna Shrestha and Western Union country head Atish Krishna signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions. [break]
Following the agreement, Three Star will put on jersey carrying the logo of Western Union in all official matches. Nabil Bank is the main sponsor of the club.
On the occasion, Atish handed over the new jersey carrying the logo of Western Union to captain Pradeep Maharjan and former captain Surendra Tamang.
Atish said both the sides will be benefited from the agreement. He also said the deal could be extended next year if the club improved its performance.
Three Star are the winners of the recently held British Gurkha Cup Football Tournament.
Rain puts off Nagarik T20
NEPALGUNJ, Feb 10: Nagarik T20 Cricket Tournament, which is being held in Nepalgunj, has been postponed for the second day due to rain.
The tournament couldn´t be carried out on Tuesday because of rainfall while on Wednesday the ground remained wet, thereby hindering the match.
The organizers, Nepalgunj Youth, on Wednesday informed that two matches will be held in a single day instead of one from Thursday to cover up for the canceled matches.
The tournament will run till February 20.
