Bara, Sept 16: A person has been absconding after killing his mother with a sharp object. According to Hobindra Bogati, Superintendent of Police (SP), the victim was identified as Dhanvandhi Devi from Kalaiya Sub- metropolis-7, Rangpur. She was killed by her son Jay Kishore yadav.
SP Bogati said that on Thursday evening there was a dispute between family members, during the dispute Yadav slit his mother Dhanvandhi’s throat with a sickle.

Bogati said that Shivnarayan Yadav, the victim’s husband and the son's father, was taken under control to understand the incident.
