NEPALGUNJ, Nov 18: Cadres of United Democratic Madheshi Front (UDMF) on Wednesday started sit-in at no-man’s land along the Nepal-India border obstructing entry of vehicles to and from Nepal.

Area Police Office, Jamuniha said cargo vehicles are stranded at Rupaidiha, India due to the protest.

Police said agitators sent back vehicles that were attempting to enter Nepal from India.

Police Inspector Hari Gurung said UDMF cadres have allowed only rickshaws, bicycles and motorcycles to ply.

Police in large number have been fanned out in Jamunia area to prevent any untoward incidents.

Indian Customs had allowed cargo vehicles to enter seamlessly through the entry point since three days.
